Dr Philip Das was absolutely excellent whilst involved with my recent operation. He explained everything very clearly and was always prepared to listen. The minutes before an operation are always likely to be stressful for the patient, and Dr Das put me at ease straight away. He also made a post operative visit in case I had any questions to ask.
A highly recommended consultant anaesthetist.

Very kind and friendly.
Totally listened to my worries and queries.
Came to check on me after the operation to see how things were.
Would be happy to be seen by him again if the occasion occurred.

Philip Das came and explained everything before my surgery and made sure I was happy with everything. I had a nurse come and try to put in a cannula but failed twice. So I explained this to Philip Das and said that I'd had chemotherapy so my vain's are not that great. When I went down for my operation he was very careful in attaching the cannula and made sure he had found the right vain before trying. Altogether he was a great doctor.
